Happy New Year.

Well after a trying few months we have entered into the new year. I have been going to physical therapy trying to walk normal again. It takes at least 2 hours and is slightly painful. I am ready to walk normal and not have to think so hard when I am walking. Walking should be something you don't have to think about.

November and December were crazy months. Aiden turned 8...and was baptized. We also had to attend 3 funerals in the last week of November. One of those may result in us adopting a 2 1/2 year old girl. We are still waiting on details from our attorney, but...another girl in the house would be nice.

Right after Aiden's birthday party and baptism Courtney was out of town for work for 2 weeks. Talk about bad timing! I was still on crutches, it was Christmastime and I have three small children. The day Courtney was scheduled to fly home was the huge storm that hit the east coast. He was delayed over and over again. I was anxious to get him home of course after two weeks without a husband....it took him 22 hours to get home from the east coast.

Finally Christmas arrived. The kids had so much fun...oh to be a kid again! I love watching them open presents and the excitement of Santa coming. Madi was fun with her first Christmas. She was just at the age where she was interested in opening presents, and she is actually a baby who loves toys. She got her first tooth and just started waving good bye.

Seth is looking forward to his birthday coming up at the end of the month. He will be 5. I can't believe how fast those years went by.

Enjoy the recent family pics....they are kind of awkward as I was still on crutches when we took them....but the kid pics are great!
