A year since last post....Kate this is for you.

So here it is a year later about since my last post....I'm an excellent blogger. Since last year we have a new addition to the family. Alyvia JaNae Swassing was born on September 15, 2011. She was 7 lbs 11 oz and 21 inches long. So far she has been a great addition to the family.

Aiden started the fourth grade this year. He enjoys dirt bike riding, baseball and football. He is quite the athlete. He has been a big help with Alyvia and the other kids.

Seth started the first grade this year. He loves to go camping and has learned to ride his dirt bike this year without training wheels. He is an excellent student and loves school.

Madi is quite the little lady. She is 2.5 going on 20. She is so funny and is quick witted. Nothing gets past this little one. She has adjusted well to being a big sister and is a big help.

Alyvia is a pleasure. We can't wait to watch her grow and develop.

Below are a few new family photos. Enjoy!

Update,,,,,

Well since last I wrote we have had a great summer. We have had a few mishaps in that we wrecked our vehicle and our camp trailer and our utility trailer and our motorcycles, but we were all okay.

The kids are growing like crazy! Aiden started the 3rd grade, Seth started Kindergarten, and MadiLynne started daycare. All good things for the little Swassing crew.

Here are a few pics of the past couple of months. Enjoy!

2010 So far....

So...here we are in April of 2010. Yesterday was MadiLynne's 1st birthday. We took the family to SLC for a quick get away...went to Hogle Zoo, Build a Bear workshop, and just did some swimming at the hotel. We only did a quick birthday celebration for Madi as tomorrow will be her party with the family.

Staying in a hotel with 3 kids is quite an adventure..the first night we turned off all the lights and Madi in her cute little innocent voice says, "hi....hi." over and over. Which of course gets the boys laughing hysterically. The next night Seth steam rolled Aiden in the night to eventually roll off the opposite side of the bed then he was sleeping. THUMP! in the night. He then says to me "I couldn't find my bed." Who knows what was going on.

I asked myself several times, why do parents spend the money to stay in a hotel room 10 times smaller than our houses when we could stay at home and have the space to roam for free? Here are some pics from the past 6 months or so...
